Vintage Thingies Thursday

Hello and welcome to another Vintage Thingies Thursday, hosted by http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/search/label/Vintage%20Thingies%20Thursdays
Hubby and I went to our favorite outdoor/indoor flea market. We go a few times a year, but we haven't been there for awhile. Outside is a whole area of great old stuff. You have to get there early, (sunrise) because they start packing up by 12-1:00 p.m. Inside is a lot of new stuff, and an Amish market. They have all kinds of baked goods, and every kind of candy you can think of.
Their apple fritters are great! I was lucky to find these great vintage kitchen items. A hand blender thingy, potato masher, a slicer of some kind with ridges, perhaps to cut potatoes or carrots, and a strainer. All are in great condition, and cost me about $10 for all 4 pieces. I have a shelf in my kitchen with all kinds of vintage cans and whatnot's, I will save for another day. These I will add to the shelf with hooks, and hang them underneath. thanks for visiting, and please visit Suzanne for others sharing their vintage goodies!

  16. Hi Debbie - I just read your comment about my altered halloween bottles....I find all my bottles at thrift stores for 25 or 50 cents. To make the bottles look "spookier" for the halloween transformation, I took a small amount of black craft paint and watered it down slightly...I poured it into the bottle and swished it around...once it dried it resembled what I imagined to be dried potion (OK - maybe my imagination gets away from me!) Thanks for visiting!

  20. Oh I just love old kitchen items - I just got off the phone with my mom asking her to look around and see if she has some neat stuff in her kitchen I could use for next week. She of course doesn't think of her stuff as vintage, just regular! ha ha Too funny ~ ♥
