I googled paver pals, and came up with these. They have them for all seasons, and even patriotic ones. I lovethe scarecrow too! If you google them, they have the patterns for sale. I'm just winging it with the ones I am making. Before I painted them, I used a basement type of sealer on them. Then just used regular craft paint. I will seal them with a UV type of sealer though. If you have any questions, let me know.Saturday, June 30, 2012
Fun Garden Animals
Hello everyone! Hope you are staying cool! It is 98 and humid, here in central NJ. Yikes! A good day to stay in and craft. I had seen these at a garden center, and thought they looked easy enough to make. Since I already do painting on wood, it seemed easy enough. They are made from paver stones, and balsa wood for the cutouts. Grandson and I are having fun making them. So far, we have almost completed the dog, and lady bug. Instead of the cow, I will be making a dalmation. Since hubby is a fireman, we have to have one of those!
