I found this cute dish rack at HomeGoods. I knew as soon as I saw it what I was going to do with it. It was a whopping $4.99! I have it displayed on my sideboard in my dining room. I thought it was much too cute to use for just regular dishes! I plan on putting some more small plates on the sides. The white pitcher was also found at HomeGoods. I had been looking for one for quite some time. One day, I got a call from my sweet friend Shari, who lives in Fla. She said to hop over there, because they had like five different styles. I was so excited! Yes, yes, they had the same ones in my store. I got two of them! The pretty pink pedestal dish was a recent find out antiquing with the hubby. When he is on the road working, he is always on the lookout for new places for us to check out. This place was called Scranberry Coop. Lots of neat things at reasonable prices. The dish is a Fenton with the little tag still attached on the top. It was $30 with 25% off. Not bad, as I have seen Fenton pieces go for much more. I love the pearlescent color!!

I wanted to also share my recipe for a raspberry oatmeal smoothie. It's tastes as good at it looks! It makes two large glasses full, so you can save some for another time or share it.
1 C ice
1/2 C frozen raspberries
1/2 C vanilla yogurt (I used Dannon Lite and Fit, but you can use any kind)
1 med banana
1/2 C raw oatmeal (not instant)
1 Tbsp honey
1 C cran/raspberry juice or just cranberry
Mix in blender til smooth.
Yummy!!
Thanks for stopping by for a visit!
