Chocolate Heaven?

I just found a coupon in the Sunday paper for this delicious new Philadelphia cream cheese spread in three flavors of chocolate!! Uh oh, I am in trouble now. lol! It comes in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate. I am guessing it is a little pricey, giving that the coupon is for $1 off. Nevertheless, I will have to try this. (Update) I found it at at the grocery store!!!! It's made with Belguim chocolate, and soooo creamy. They had strawberries on sale too. Just like eating one of those gourmet chocolate covered strawberries! Truly Heaven!! You can spread it on pretzels, strawberries, cookies, an english muffin, oh yes! I am craving cheesecake lately for some reason. Hopefully this will satisfy the cravings without much damage.
Has anyone tried this? I hope I can find it in the stores. It just came out around Valentines day, (I googled it) and people were upset that they couldn't find it in their stores. Will let you know how it is!

Hello Girlfriends! It's that time again! Time for pink fun over at Beverly's of
I found this cute dish rack at HomeGoods. I knew as soon as I saw it what I was going to do with it. It was a whopping $4.99! I have it displayed on my sideboard in my dining room. I thought it was much too cute to use for just regular dishes! I plan on putting some more small plates on the sides. The white pitcher was also found at HomeGoods. I had been looking for one for quite some time. One day, I got a call from my sweet friend Shari, who lives in Fla. She said to hop over there, because they had like five different styles. I was so excited! Yes, yes, they had the same ones in my store. I got two of them! The pretty pink pedestal dish was a recent find out antiquing with the hubby. When he is on the road working, he is always on the lookout for new places for us to check out. This place was called Scranberry Coop. Lots of neat things at reasonable prices. The dish is a Fenton with the little tag still attached on the top. It was $30 with 25% off. Not bad, as I have seen Fenton pieces go for much more. I love the pearlescent color!!

I wanted to also share my recipe for a raspberry oatmeal smoothie. It's tastes as good at it looks! It makes two large glasses full, so you can save some for another time or share it.

1 C ice

1/2 C frozen raspberries

1/2 C vanilla yogurt (I used Dannon Lite and Fit, but you can use any kind)

1 med banana

1/2 C raw oatmeal (not instant)

1 Tbsp honey

1 C cran/raspberry juice or just cranberry

Mix in blender til smooth.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

White Wednesday

Hi girlfriends, I am joining for White Wednesday. I haven't participated in awhile. Where does the time go? Just look at this darling little Maltese!!! I want one of these! My hubby calls them Fu Fu dogs. lol! He would prefer a Bulldog named Butch, but not me!

I just love old linens, and look for new ways to display them.

I love old white buttons too! Such a pretty display.

I am swooning over this pretty bedroom! I could just see my little Fu Fu dog sitting here waiting for me to cuddle!

Pretty french postcard.

Another lovely bedroom!

This pretty lady belongs to Sissie over at Sissies Shabby Cottage. I just love how she decorated her with these pretty linens!

Lastly, this pretty lady is from Dawn over at The Feathered Nest. I just love her face!

Hope you enjoyed stopping by. Now hop over to Faded Charm for some more pretty whites!

Pink Saturday and Valentines Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! It's time to par-tay for pink Saturday and Valentine's Day, so I am joining all the girls over at Beverly's of I have shared some of these photos before, but I have some new followers, and thought I would share them again. Come into my dining room, and see my valentine vignette. I love to decorate this buffet for each season. I tend to like shades of pink and cream/white for Valentines Day. Not too much into the bright reds. Here is a gorgeous vintage valentine that my dear mother-in-law made for me a few yrs ago. You can click on any picture to make it larger. She used a newer reproduction fold out card. I love the fabric she used for the background. Next to that is another reproduction fold up card. I just love cherubs!

The sweet little pink doll in this picture, was an e-bay find. She is in great condition, nice and clean, and I just love her bright blue eyes. The chocolate pot was also an e-bay find.

Please help yourself to a chocolate! There are more goodies on the table for you.

Aren't these cupcakes yummy looking!

These are just too pretty to eat, but help yourself to one!

Here is a collection of vintage postcard Valentines. I just love these, and have collected a few over the yrs. Love the hat on this one! This has been used, and dates 1910 on the back. The card isn't showing it's pretty vintage patina in this photo.

This is a sweet one, also from 1910.

This is one of my favorties. I wish I had a pretty window like this! This is a Tuck's card.

This one has a postmark of 1910, and doesn't show the pretty patina on it. It is addressed to Miss Anna Drost, Rice lake, Wisconsin

This one is darling with these little chicks tucked in her apron!

Love this image I found on the internet.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today, and please take a little Valentine favor home with you!

Don't forget to stop over at Beverly's for more pink Valentine fun!

I have just been invited to another seasonal par-tay over at

Thank you for the invitation!

Valentine Pink Saturday

Hi everyone, and welcome to Pink Saturday! Our hostess today is Beverly, from Thanks Beverly! Today, I am sharing a Valentine vignette on my coffee table. The candle decoration is a vase purchased at Walmart, and the inside candle from the dollar store. The candle is inside another vase. In between I put little snippets of different colored ribbon. Jazz's it right up, and so easy peasy. You just have to fiddle with the ribbon to get it where you want it. I curled it first, and then adjusted it with the eraser part of a pencil. You could use this for any holiday. The love books (they open) are from Micheals, and the little pink heart, I made from felt, sequins and beads.

The little rose next to the cherub, I made from ribbon. Hope you all have a great weekend! Please visit Beverly for some more pretty pinks. I bet there are lots of other valentine vignettes today!

I am also joining in on Marty's tabletop Tuesday party @ A Stroll Thru Life.
