Tea Things Tuesday

Hello, and welcome to another Tea Things Tuesday, hosted by sweet Kim of http://shabbypinkandpretty.blogspot.com/ Thanks so much Kim for hosting this for us. My first item is a teacup by Royal Albert. I am not sure of the pattern. It is just covered in luscious roses, and trimmed in gold edging. I picked this up on one of my trips to my favorite antique shops. Inside has the prettiest roses in it too!
This teacup is a Lady Carlyle pattern. I believe this also comes in blue. I found this in Home Goods, and they had a whole set of dishes that matched in this pattern. Wow, what a lucky find!
I bought 6 cups and saucers, 6 dinner plates, and the smaller dessert plates. I figured it would be perfect for an Easter dinner, because of the pastel colors. I just love them.

This pretty teapot I found at Marshall's. It was so cheap, I couldn't pass it up. It doesn't have any name on it, but I love the pattern. The pink stand I found in Burlington coat factory store. They have some of the prettiest home things in there. I have had this for a few yrs now, and I have a larger one that matches. I used them at holiday time. Well, I hope you enjoyed looking at some of my favorite tea things. Don't forget to visit Kim to see some other participants and their pretty tea things. Thanks for coming by for a visit.

Oooooh, such pretty tea things! I always forget about Burlington because the closest one to me is in Tampa. I think I should make a trip over there one of these first days. Come on down and we'll go together! ;)

P.S. I like the addition of your "signature" too.

OK Debbie, now I'm drooling. I love that gorgeous teacup with all the roses both inside and out. I love teacups that carry the floral pattern inside instead of just having it on the outside.

I have the exact same Lady Carlyle teacup myself. Two of them actually. You'll be seeing my entire Lady Carlyle collection before too long. The Lady Carlyle pattern is one of my favorites. You can already see the teapot in one of my sidebar pictures.

Thanks for sharing your lovely teacups and teapot today.
