Vintage Christmas Monday

Hi everyone! I'm joining in with Joan of http://thepottingshed-anythinggoeshere.blogspot.com/2009/11/vintage-christmas-monday-number-2.html for vintage Christmas Monday. Here is a set of Christmas angels that I had in my home from the 1950's. They are stamped Japan on the bottom. (yeah, I'm old) lol
I remember my mom would put these in a little shadow box that was built into the wall of our home in the dining room. A few have a chip here and there, but I love them just the same. My mom wrapped them in tissue, and I loved unwrapping them at Christmas.
These little guys I picked up at a yard sale for .25 each! I found a shoe box, and started rummaging through it, and the woman said "oh anything in there is .25" . I was thrilled when I found these. I wish there had been more like them. thanks for stopping by! See you next week!
Don't forget to stop by and check out the other particpants to see their vintage Christmas goodies!

Oh Debbie, those angels are soooo sweet! And a wonderful family heirloom too. I've recently started collecting stuff like that, and I'm having so much fun finding each piece. My daughter was home from college this weekend, and we went thrifting, and I found another one to add to my collection! If only she liked the old stuff like I do!
Happy Vintage Christmas Monday!
Hugs,
Carol

I love those little angels, Debbie! I have a similar set, but they're not that old...maybe 10 years or so. I just go them down and now have to decide where they will go...that's always the difficult part of decorating...where, where, where!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Those little angels are precious and even more so I am sure since they belonged to your mother. I have a set that were given to me by a dear friend and one had a broken wing. I love it all the more.
Thank you so much for your cute comment on my post about the hammer. Can you tell I was searching for something to post about..:):) I loved your garage sale find too. HOW I love garage sales!
