Vintage Christmas Monday

Hello, and welcome to another Vintage Christmas Monday, hosted by dear Joan of http://thepottingshed-anythinggoeshere.blogspot.com/ . thank you Joan for hosting this great event! Lookie here at these wonderful cards I just received in the mail! I purchased these from sweet Kris over at http://krislhurst.blogspot.com/2009/11/christmas-greetings.html She had them pictured on her blog, and I wrote to her, and asked if she could make me some. Well, she very kindly obliged, and I am so glad she did. They are just adorable! Each image is separately cut out and put on each card, and is just so nicely made. Attention to every detail. They are not small either. They are a 5x7 size, and come with envelopes. I think I am going to make a banner with them. The images are so bright, I just LOVE them. Thank you so much Kris! She has her own Etsy shop too, so check it out. You can click on any image to make it bigger. This sweet image I found on someones blog. Sorry I can't remember who it was. This was a book, that has been passed down in the family, and Santa's suit is done in velvet. I just loved the image.
These little cuties were a thrift find. the little plastic roofs were all yellowed, and most of the glitter gone. Well, I brought them home, and with a little TLC, and a new coating of glitter, I think they look really cute! Inside, the figures are hard plastic, with little sprigs of plastic holly.
This pretty figurine is Napco Christmas angel I purchased on e-bay. They can be quite pricey, so I will watch for them year round.

Well, I hope you enjoyed looking at my Christmas goodies. I am glad that Joan is extending the party til Dec 31, so we can catch up on any posts that we missed. Please visit her blog to see the other participants on the right of her sidebar. thanks so much for coming by, and have a very Merry Christmas!!

Good job fixing up the little houses, they are so cute. I just got a Napco Christmas Angel Bell. It has a date of 1954. I just received it as a gift from a dear friend. I have it posed on today's VCM post. Please check it out. Do you know if it was indeed part of a set? Thanks. A very Merry Christmas to you and your family.

OH MY! I had no idea there was such a thing as Vintage Monday...but then I am always a day late...not to mention a dollar short..or was that a buck?? :)

I loved your post and you are right...those cards would make a lovely garland. Perhaps I am not to late to add something to the vintage...I must check!

And...last but not least..thank you for your sweet visit and comment to my blog and latest post.
I appreciate that SO much! Now I am off to check on the VINTAGE MONDAY! :):)
You have cute ideas! LOVE that garland idea..
Merry Christmas!
Hugs,
Mona

Those cards are so sweet, and I think they would look fantastic made into a banner! And you did a great job prettying up those little houses too. Love that Napco angel, and you're right, they're so expensive. Hopefully we can both find them cheaper throughout the year!
Happy VCM and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas, Debbie!

Hi Debbie:
I really enjoyed all of your vintage Christmas treasures! The little houses look very nice with their updated glitter roofs.
My main reason for stopping by was to say thank you for my vintage electric candles. I just received the package from the mailman 5 minutes ago and I LOVE them. I already found a spot for them, plugged them in and they are just beautiful.
Thanks so much for your generous giveaway....I am so delighted to have won these. I'll be blogging about them this week.

Hi Debbie!

I love those vintage pictures on your blog...they're beautiful! And the cards that Kris made are adorable, too, and I think a banner would be a great way to use them. Your little Napco angel is precious...I've been trying to find one, but no luck so far...and the little houses are a perfect addition. Don't you love those thrift store buys?!

Have a wonderful Christmas, my friend, full of joy, love, and peace, all shared with family and friends!

Mary

Hi, Debbie,
Those cards are wonderful! They would look really cute made into a banner. "The Night Before Christmas" is one of my favorite poems. I love the way you tenderly restored those houses. Your angel is so sweet, too. Thank you for sharing all of your vintage goodies. I have enjoyed getting to know you so much, and I really appreciate your friendship! Have a blessed holiday season! Vicki
