Vintage Things Thursday & Pink Saturday

Hi, and welcome to another Vintage Things Thursday hosted by Suzanne of http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/search/label/Vintage%20Thingies%20Thursdays. Thanks again Suzanne for hosting this for us once again. I am also hooking up with Beverly of http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/pink-saturday/ for Pink Saturday. thanks Beverly! Today, I would like to share a vintage plate I bought from e-bay a few years back. It is quite large, and measures 11". The only thing is says on the bottom is Germany.

I fell in love with the beautiful pink painted roses, and the gorgeous iridescent patina. I need to get a few more, so I can make a grouping on the wall. thanks for coming by, and don't forget to visit all of the other participants.

So Beautiful!! I love finding German plates like these. There is just something just so pretty about the roses on them and the coloring as well. They always seem to have just the perfect shades of pink and green.

Wow, Debbie! That plate is gorgeous! Gosh, I wish I could paint roses like that. Sooo pretty! The coffee pot (or is it a chocolate pot?) next to it is fabulous too. :)

I like that it has a nice lip around the edge so things don't go sliding off. That's great for serving cookies or such.

Hi: Your post is so beautiful. I love the tea cups. I looked at Ebay to try to purchase the Royal Albert. It is a little pricey for me. The gloves are stunning. I am just in love with it all. Thank you so much for sharing. I am so sorry about Mr Linky. I promise to do better next week. Have a wonderful day. Blessings, Martha
