Pink Saturday

Hello, and welcome to Pink Saturday, hosted by Beverly of http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/pink-saturday/ Today, I would like to share some of my pretty pink dolls. This first one I bought many yrs ago from the Franklin Mint. I forget what it is called, but the mother is styling her daughter's hair. The little girl is looking in her mirror. They are made of beautiful porcelain, and I have them displayed in a case that my dad made. It is as big as an end table, and is made of glass with a wooden frame. It has a door on it, so I can take them in and out.

This one is also porcelain. I received this for my birthday from my dad. He always bought me pretty dolls for my birthday, even as a grownup. I love the lace dress on her, and it has a long trail in the back. She is quite large and measures about 1 1/2 ft tall.

Thanks for coming by to visit, and be sure to visit Beverly for other participants.

Hi Debbie :) These are such beautiful dolls, all dressed in their pretty pink frilly dresses :) I use to collect dolls, mostly the Antique Reproductions, but have since sold off my collection. The house was getting a little over-run with dolls everywhere, lol :)

Wishing you a Happy Pink Saturday!

Warmest, Brenda

I love dolls, too and I don't have any! I am going to change that! When I was a girl I had many Madame Alexanders, both big and the little ones....somehow when we moved from Omaha to Tucson they did not find their way off the moving van....I played with my dolls but took care of them and truly wish I had them today!
Thank you for sharing yours!

Your dolls are beautiful!! I have a SMALL doll collection (maybe 6), but I haven't displayed it in a few years. In fact, they remain packed away in boxes from when we move. Sadly, I no longer have the display space I once had.

Happy Pink Saturday,

Hi, Debbie,
Your dolls are so pretty. How wonderful that your dad still buys dolls for you even as a grownup. I think we never get too old for dolls. I hope you have a terrific weekend and please wish your hubby a "Happy Father's Day" for me. Love and blessings always~ Vicki

Hi Debbie,
Your dolls are beautiful! I collected dolls too for a while but I really have no place to display them. Since the grandchildren came I more or less got away from the collecting. Thank you for sharing yours.

Blessings,
Sandi
