I have shared these in the past, but for those of you who are new to this, or haven't seen them before, I am sharing them again. I don't know why, but I love vintage wedding pictures. This is a picture of my in-laws on their wedding day in 1944.
My father in law was in the army, so they selected a military cake topper. My mother in law had beaded the whole thing herself. (please click on any picture to
enlarge) It is made of a chalk-like material on the bottom. It is also musical, but no longer works. It is very old and fragile now, but I am happy to have it. My mother in law just turned 91 in March.
The picture on the left is a picture of my mother and aunt. My mother is the one with the fingers in her ears!
lol I don't know who the other people are, but I just love the pictures. I wonder who they were, and what kind of marriage they had.
