I remember as a little girl, just loving to dance in the rain. My grandma lived in Va, and when we visited in the summer, we would get really intense thunder storms. The lightening flashed like light bulbs. My favorite part was after the storm. A lot of times there was a big rainbow! In Va, the dirt is very soft, almost like flour. I used to love to step in the big puddles and sqoosh the mud through my toes! Everything look so fresh and clean. Even the air smelled nice!
Roses are my favorite flower! Can you tell? There is just something even more beautiful about a rose, when it is covered in raindrops.
Look at this sweet little girl. She almost looks like she is thanking the heavens for the rain for her flower.
I love these flowers. I have them in my front yard, and dang I can't remember what they are called.
Peonies are another of my favorites. Even prettier sprinkled with raindrops!
love these daisies too!!
These little guys look so happy walking in the rain with their froggy umbrellas!
Another sweet rose sprinkled with angel tears!
Don't these leaves look so fresh and vibrant? The whole garden and even the grass looks so nice and green. I just love a soft summer rain. How about you? Thanks for coming by, and I hope that where ever you live, you are nice and cool, and enjoying summer!

Beautiful Debbie, have a wonderful week! Hugs Marilou
I'd love a soft summer rain too but unfortunately, here in the "Lightening Capital of the U.S." our rain is is generally accompanied by scary lightening. :( Makes me (and the dogs) quite nervous.
Those ducks in the first pic are so cute! I don't think I told you about the duck named "Duck-Duck" we had visitng the farm for awhile. I'll have to send you a picture. She/He? was so sweet and friendly.
Debbie,
Well, we were having a heat wave too in Pa. Until Monday when the heavens opened up with a cold wave! Some areas recieved 2-6 inches of rain in one day!!
We had about 3 inches and my little cottage garden was truly in need of a soaking.
It is a bit cooler here and I am ever so grateful because I am not a big lover of heat. 70ish is about as high as I go when I define comfortable!!
Stay cool!!
Hugs,
Dbebie
