White Wednesday

Hi everyone! Today, I am joining in with http://fadedcharmcottage.blogspot.com/2011/10/white-wednesday-121.html for White Wednesday. Last year in September, I attended a Victorian Days festival with some girlfriends. It began with this wonderful fashion show of the Victorian Era. My favorite part of this fashion show, were these girls dressed in white and cream vintage wedding dresses! I don't know why, but I just love the beautiful vintage laces and the femininity of these devine dresses! If you can still find them in great condition, they are quite pricey today. The little girl in the front, was just darling in her little afternoon tea dress.
These are vintage nightgowns, complete with little night hats. Just so cute.

This is another dress that was in the show. It could be a wedding dress or for afternoon tea. I would have loved a dress like this when I married. I don't look good in white and prefer the cream colors. Simple, yet so feminine!

Thanks for coming by, and be sure to visit Faded Charm for more pretty whites!

I am also joining these parties: http://faithgracecrafts.blogspot.com/2011/10/pearls-and-lace-thursday-66-singer-hand.html for Pearls and Lace Thursday. Thanks Doni!

Suzanne at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/2011/10/vintage-thingie-thursday-vintage-fire.html for Vintage Things Thursday. Thanks Suzanne!
