Dreams

I am sure we have all wondered at one time or another, why we dream and what do they mean. Our dreams can be realistic or fantasy. Dreams nurish our souls, make us feel happy, contented, and enable us to be more compassionate and loving.

Realistic dreams can help us strive to meet our goals (ie new house, better job, etc) and work hard to achieve them.

Fantasy dreams are happy thoughts, memories of loved ones, living or deseased. They are private. Hidden in a little corner of our minds that no one else may enter or take away from us. We  can close our eyes and pretend to be anywhere or with anyone we want to, feel the embrace of a loved one, or imagine their voice.

It's the very thoughts that enrich our souls, and help us to relax after a hard day. Dreams are a wonderful part of life! ZZZZZZZZ...............

I seldom ever remember dreams, never have - horribly light sleeper and insomniac - not sure I ever get deep enough to sleep to dream.

Anyway, this is a pretty post and that sweet little baby is precious.

I had a horrible nightmare last night. My university fall start-up has turned my happy dreams into some wicked nightmares. I think I need summer to return. Or, an easier job right now. Hugs!

Oh Debbie, I wish that were true for me. I am always dreaming of being lost or having lost something..
I recently lost my beautiful eldest daughter and before that her father. I think it may be a deep seated fear of loss. I've had a lot of it, but so have others.
This was indeed a nice post..food for thought post and done so well!
Good night.

Did you ever have such a good dream, wake up in the middle and have the good fortune of going back to it?! Rare, but it has happened.
Then there's the recurring nightmares...no fun at all.
Apparently, when I was about 8 years old, I was told to go to bed and instead walked right out the front door. My older siblings followed me all the way down to the corner light, turned me around and I walked back home. To this day, I never remembered any of it.

I'm a dreamer:) Most I remember too. Sorry Debbie your pumpkin did not turn out. What did you do it with mod podge or gesso, on glass or foam? Let me know, so I can try to help you. It all is an experiment at the end of the day.

Sorry you did mention glass. So you did it with the gesso? Did you let it dry completely? Or partial?

Yes debbie you're right! Dreams really are a wonderful part of life. Specially when we dream about something that we really love, and it would also be our motivation to do so. Like what you said on the realistic dream. =) Thanks for sharing this post. =)
