Hi everyone! Well, I don't know about you, but we are having a heat wave here in NJ. We need rain! They were calling for it the other day, and we never got any. From the look of the skies this morning, it sure looked like it might rain any minute. Nope, not one single drop. We certainly do need it, as the temps soared to 104 the other day!
Now, just look at these cute little ducks, having fun in this pan of water! I want some of these!!
I remember as a little girl, just loving to dance in the rain. My grandma lived in Va, and when we visited in the summer, we would get really intense thunder storms. The lightening flashed like light bulbs. My favorite part was after the storm. A lot of times there was a big rainbow! In Va, the dirt is very soft, almost like flour. I used to love to step in the big puddles and sqoosh the mud through my toes! Everything look so fresh and clean. Even the air smelled nice!
Roses are my favorite flower! Can you tell? There is just something even more beautiful about a rose, when it is covered in raindrops.
Look at this sweet little girl. She almost looks like she is thanking the heavens for the rain for her flower.
I love these flowers. I have them in my front yard, and dang I can't remember what they are called.
Peonies are another of my favorites. Even prettier sprinkled with raindrops!
