Teacup Tuesday

Hello, and welcome to Teacup Tuesday, hosted by Kim at http://shabbypinkandpretty.blogspot.com/

Today I will share with you my pretty chintz teapot, and the matching sugar and creamer. This lovely set was purchased at Home Goods. I happened to be browsing on day, and came across this teapot. I couldn't believe it was marked $6.99. On another occasion, in the same store, I spotted the sugar bowl and creamer. They were marked $3.99 each. To tell you the truth, I was originally going to sell them on e-bay. The bottoms are marked Royal Cotswold. Once I got them home, I was having second thoughts. The colors are so bright and cheery. You can click on the picture to enlarge. I ended up keeping them, and I'm so glad I did. I haven't seen any more pieces like this anywhere. Now, I'm on the hunt for a teacup to match. Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out Kim's blog to see more participants.

OMG.. I can't believe you found that teapot at HomeGoods for just $6.99. Amazing. I have one just like it that I purchased many years ago from Victoria magazine. Let's just say that I paid way, way, way more than you did for yours. I also have 2 matching teacups, desert plates and creamer. You'll be able to see my chintz teacups next week!!

I saw that same chintz at Home Goods, however, they only had the sugar bowl left, so I knew someone had beat me to it! Was it YOU? So funny, I have often purchased something with the intention of selling it on ebay, only to discover how perfect it looks in my home! Have a wonderful Tuesday with your beautiful tea set!

Don't ya just love pretty things? Makes it hard to sell them. I always want to keep everything. Good choice on not selling!
